Idol head designer Donovan Pascal and marketing director Mark Herman have forged a business partnership
and chemistry that has carved some of the most creative and interesting fashion labels on the High Street, borne
from their first-ever label Revolution With Love. Donovan having honed a unique design signature after graduating
from The London College Of Fashion and Mark paving the way in music, meeting some of London’s most important
impresarios, perfecting his promotional and marketing skills whilst working with giants like Ministry Of Sound and
Fabric. Donovan earned his fashion stripes as a freelance stylist, working with Prince and Soul II Soul. He launched
his own label Pascalokada before becoming head designer at Buddhist Punk in 2001 being instrumental in their
exclusive Rolling Stones collection, which coincided with the band’s 2003 Licks world tour.

Moving over to head up Religion, Buddhist Punk’s sister label at a crucial time for the brand, he helped to increase
the label’s influence on London’s fashion scene. Alongside Mark as Marketing Director the pair set about making
Religion the sought brand on the High Street with celebrity faithful followers such as Agyness Deyn, Kate Moss and
Keira Knightley. The pair also collaborated together on Ibiza Rocks Star with the Manumission group.

Currently the pair are involved in the creation and management of the IDOL brand, exclusive to high street giant
New Look. IDOL has a vibrant vintage rock vibe and unique customised aesthetic. To date achieving celebrity placements ranging from Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, JLS, Madonna’s daughter Lourdes and
Lindsay Lohan. The team is proving that it’s not just the catwalk designers who can reach out to the A-list.
